Another show announced: July 24 at the Jisan Valley Rock Festival in South Korea! This will be Weezer’s first ever show in Korea! (As for how to get a ticket? Hmm… anyone know how to read Korean? Don’t think theyre available yet,in any case.)

Everyone loved you dudes for the humor you brought to the game, your sublime simplistic melodies and overall irreverence — NOT some Kayne-inspired light/pyro extravaganza! Blink was never known for its “ambition,” you were the funny, crude punk dudes that didn’t give a shit…and that’s what you truly were…that’s what everyone loved and identified with. Why did AVA fail? Not because they didn’t have the best drummer in the entire world, because they did in Atom Willard — not because they didn’t have the chops to play, cause they did — but because Tom was striving so hard to contort himself into something he could never be, an overly serious, faux-intellectual jagoff. Only thing I’m not looking forward to is Fall Out Boy opening.
