I’ve been hearing a lot about this lately, but I just saw this clip for the first time today!! This may very well be the best thing that has ever happened on TV!!! Wow, I wrote this song in my living room on a beat-up acoustic guitar. Now it’s on a show on BBC. Crazy, amazing, and bizarre!! I need to find out more about this show.

Yeh I watch this show every week just because of the Blink references. It’s so cool that they actually made a program after Blink and a main character is crazy about Tom.
I think there’s only 6 episodes though… they can’t quite manage it as well as Blink do though (:

Dude its kind of a wierd show, this one kid is devoted and obsessed with Tom (Delonge), so his mom embracing his weirdness and slight social disabilities and starts her own choir with her boy in it, they did “all the small things” the first ep (as a 3 piece band w/choir). I’ll start a show with all your great fans and how we love you so much. The real title of the show (“all the small things”) should be “Dysfunctional family with son obsessed w/ Tom Delonge”.

ah man, to tell you the truth, they butchered it, all that was holy about those songs they used has been slightly tarnished as a result within those programmes. I don’t know about everyone else, but for me those songs stood for pop punk and summer shenanigans and seeing them in that context detracted from those values, because i felt that so many undeserving viewers had no understanding of their origins. did the bbc not ask for persmission? this has been a largely negative post and i apologise, i love you guys and i cant wait to see you. long live blink! x

the show has nothing really to do with blink 182 – basically a wife and a husband are in a choir with the husband as the guy in charge of it all – then a new women member shows up and is really good, the husband leaves his wife to have an affair with the new singer – the wife leaves the choir and starts her own one with her two sons, one who has a form of autism and who’s idol is tom delonge. the wife’s choir beats her ex husbands in a one off contest performing the song all the small things. the original choir become more and more competitive while the all the small things choir (named after the first song they performed) continue to play and challenge the original choir. only 4 episodes of 6 have been shown so far and they’re better than eastenders

I think this is freakin’ incredible. It’s deffinatly a new direction for the song. Isn’t that what music is about, expression? This is such a good take on the song. Kinda funny, too.
