Welcome to Heartbreak
The new Kanye West album has been on constant rotation on my iPod since the week it was released. I really think it’s an amazing record. Here’s the new video for Welcome to Heartbreak. Crazy, artistic and effected, the video is directed by Nabil Elderkin, who did a photo shoot with a certain spiky-haired mediocre bass player a couple of years ago.

February 18th, 2009 at 6:03 am
that video is sick. i used to this to this album a crap load. A little too much in the beginning, but since of last week i CAN’T STOP listenin’ to it. it’s funny, yesterday i was wondering what the music video would be like for this song, and it’s better than i expected. thank you so much mark for putting this up. this has made wednesday a better day for the rest of my life. make some more music that rocks.
February 18th, 2009 at 7:16 am
This really is a good song. Pretty sad, pretty real, and really effective.
February 18th, 2009 at 7:30 am
I thought the video was jumpy and broken at first then i saw bits which made me realise it was purposefully done like that. Awesome video, thanks for this Mark!

Kanye’s new record IS an amazing one. “Paranoid” is my favorite I think, that or “Robocop.” His production is out of this world. His songs make me listen to hear exactly how he is building the songs… much like your songs Mr.Hoppus =) Thank you for creating music, I don’t know where I’d be with out it.

February 18th, 2009 at 10:14 am

February 18th, 2009 at 6:59 pm
LOL nobody’s commenting!! But I will, anyways, I really hate him bc he’s so arrogant and I hate rap in general. SO cool beans. YAY u updated again.
February 18th, 2009 at 7:33 pm
OMG!! This is such a cool vid. LUV THE SONG soooo much!
February 18th, 2009 at 7:37 pm
Isn’t Kanye joyous?
February 18th, 2009 at 8:04 pm
Glad someone out there feels the same way! This and Graduation were both winners. This record however is a very different record as far as hip-hop today goes. I love the TR-808. I’m into old school instruments like that so having an artist like him use something like that to make a whole record is amazing. Manson used the TR-909 which I loved too!
Maybe Mark should consider using one of the roland TR drum machines on one off his solo songs
, think about it man, one of those, a fender bass vi….i think as a fan you’d go nuts! do it for us fellow gear heads!
February 18th, 2009 at 9:29 pm
please don’t collaborate with R&B (at least not on your own album)..don’t get me wrong it’s great, but just not with blink 182..of course what do i know..hah
February 19th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
not a big rap fan, but thats pretty catchy and a cool video. :]
February 19th, 2009 at 8:16 pm
Rap music sucks
February 20th, 2009 at 12:24 pm
i personally dont like kanye or mainstream rnb/rap/hiphop
but that song is kinda good, something new. hopefully kanye wrote it himself…
February 21st, 2009 at 8:22 am
That’s a pretty sick video.
& as much as I don’t like kanye, that was song sounded pretty cool! XD
March 14th, 2009 at 5:21 pm
