We mean, really back. Picking up where we left off and then some. In the studio writing and recording a new album. Preparing to tour the world yet again. Mark this is great news but I have to comment on Tom’s awkwardness about the whole thing. You and Travis said something about Blink being back, but Tom just stood to the side silent. At one point he stepped towards the mic, but then stepped away again. What was all that about? Some people say he was just nervous but I think he has been in front of enough huge crowds to not be THAT nervous. This is the best news ever but the way he was acting last night makes me think it won’t last……

Mark, I’m glad to hear blink’s back, but like others, I noticed Tom’s… uneasiness on stage. I guess it’s to be expected given he’s the one who was estranged from you and Travis. You guys always used to give off a “best friends” vibe and that didn’t really come across on stage last night, what with Travis standing between you two. I guess it’ll take some time.
You recently mentioned a solo album, pretty much implying that +44 is over. Meanwhile there’s also been talk from the Angels & Airwaves guys of a third album. What’s the status of that band now? I’ve enjoyed both of those groups. Are +44 and Angels officially disbanded, or just “dormant” while you guys do blink? Will blink cover +44 or Angels songs on tour? Given all of the big talk Tom’s had in the last few years about Angels, it’s hard for me to imagine him just happily dropping it completely. It seemed to be “his baby.”

This is pretty much the best news any of us blink fans could have ever wanted to hear! To say I’ve missed blink is a massive understatement. For me, personally, I’ve found it difficult to listen to blink’s albums, of which I own all, since the split. The live album was especially difficult since we hear the guys seemingly having such a good time, only to learn a couple of years later of deep division between Mark and Tom.
BUT!!! This is, again, what I’ve been hoping for…for years now! All of us here have.
Welcome back guys, I’m happy first and foremost that you’re friends again. Can’t wait for the new album and to see you in concert.

so yeah, I’ve pretty much been waiting since the day blink broke up to say be able to say they were back. My mom told me as soon as I got up, and I literally started bawling my eyes out. I’m soo extatic! and everyyone at school knows that I’m the BIGGEST blink fan, and I had at least 27 (but whose counting?) people come up and say something. I got home and watched the video of you guys annoucing it over and over. I’m still waiting to wake up. I’ve already ordered my new blink tees @ recession price

i watched the grammys just to see u guys basically i hate it other wise and when travis said those words weve decided to play music again, i almost fainted but i stead i just scream at the top of my lungs and started flippin shit over. u guys r great that is all i have to stay! thanks for reconcling ur differences, God does everything for a reason, as horific as travis’ crash was, God did it for a reason, all in his devine plan.

I really can’t describe the way I’m feeling.
When I saw you on T.V. last night I almost had a heart attack! I just wanted to thank you so much for getting blink back together, and making thousands of kids out there so happy. it’s really a dream come true for me and i couldn’t be happier! It began with blink and it will end with blink, that’s all there is to it. Your music keeps me getting out of bed every morning and I couldn’t go a day without it. I am so excited to see where you guys will go! It will be amazing if you go on tour again and you can expect me at your shows if you do. I hope you get the chance to read this, you’ve made such a great impact on my life and I am so happy for you, tom and travis.

Ok, so I hope you realize how many millions of lives your music has touched. You’re the reason I picked up a bass. And the reason I started my own pop punk band. You kick ass. I came so hard when you guys got on stage last night that I ruined my boxers. I grew up with you guys, but by the time I was starting to get the message of your band and really get into it you guys broke up. I know this is way down on the list and you might not read it, but I just wanted to say that I’m so happy for you guys and so excited to see what Blink will come up with after a few years apart.
I’m 23 years old and became a fan of Blink while I was in middle school and you guys have been my favorite band ever since. Yes, some of your music is more on the humorous side but you have no idea how much ALL your music means to me. This week will make 6 months since my Dad passed away from colon cancer and without your music I dont think I could have made it through losing him. He was only 50 years old and was sick off and on for almost 5 years. My Mom and I took time off from our jobs to stay home and take care of him during his last months here, and it was the hardest thing Ive ever had to do. Blink’s music and words gave me so much strength and inspiration and made me push through each day.
I just wanted to say thank you for all that you, Travis, and Tom have done for me and I’m so excited to see your friendships renewed and looking forward to hearing the new stuff and seeing you on the road. I will be there if you come around Cleveland/Pittsburgh way. And I cant wait to bring my boyfriend so he can see how great you are on stage. Ive told him that you guys are amazing live and was bummed that I wouldnt be able to take him to a Blink show. Im so excited that now he has the chance to see what amazing muscians you are.
Love your family and love your friends because you dont know when it could be over. I know that personally. Life is too short to let good things slip by.
Thank you for all that Blink has done for me and continues to do for me each day. And thanks for all the laughs. Cant wait to see you guys in the summertime!!!!

i stayed up all night watching the grammy awards. I nearly screamed wen u walked on stage. my brother phoned his girlfriend who is in aberdeen. the whole school was talking about it there is a huge poster of u guys in the social area with “BLINK 182 IS BACK” in massive writing. i dont think u guys have any idea how big u are. i was too young to see u live and i never thought i’d ever get the chance so thankyou so much 4 getting back togever u are soo awesome!! if u come to the UK this year or next year, or whenever PLEASE come more north than Glasgow i practically live in the middle of nowhere and it sucks that i’ve missed out on bands like the foo fighters. in fact i’ve only seen one band live and that was ‘RUSH’ twas awesome.

All I can say is Yesssssssssss! I was @ the Outback when I was watchig the Gramy’s and when U, Travis, and Tom came on stage and anounced U gus were back I screamed REALY loud! Everyone in the restruant turnd to look at me and I turned bright red . I am only a teenager but I LOVE Blink and always will. When will the new album be out? Please, pleas please, please ,please come to Montana cuz my B-day is in April and my mom told me she would get tickets if U guys were close at all. I told her I could get them in years and still be happy. U guys have ALOT f fans here. I might live in a teeny-tiny town but there is a WHOLE middle school full of fans. PLEASE COME!

Honestly, my heart has hurt for two days now because i’ve been so happy. this may be the first time i have ever left a comment on a blog because i’ve always thought they were fucking stupid. However, this occasion has caused me to do many stupid things because i’ve stopped paying attention to what is going on around me because of how excited ive been. I’m from Brazil and Blink-182 is a important and funny part of my life!
I’m 19 now, and I began to listen Blink when I was 11! I have no words to explain how your music makes me feel! In february 2005, Blink confirmed two shows in Brazil, but in the same moth the end of the band was called… it was very veery veeery sad!
I swear I’ve been waiting 4 years for this moment! and finally, now, can Blink came to Brazil??? pelaaaaaaaaase!!! is a dream of my teenage and of millions and millions of brazilians!
