Listening to the Beach Boys “Pet Sounds” on vinyl. Mono vinyl. As it was intended. Such a great album. Perhaps my favorite of all time. Brian Wilson has harmonies for days on this record. Much respect to one of the true greats!

Nice. I oughta check this album out. Heard it was the Beach Boys’ answer to Rubber Soul, and Sgt. Pepper’s was in turn the Beatles’ answer to this, so it’s gotta be good!

Ivat,
sloop is one of my favorites too. Brian begrudgingly covered this song, it really worked for them in a big way, ..one of those that you will always want to hear again, no matter how many times you have heard it

i heard they came to portugal last year… at least some of them, i think… well, moving on, my cousin showed me a couple of tracks, really enjoyed how old-school it is, things sure were different back then. Can’t tell you if our times are better than then, but music-wise it sure was the golden age.
your fan,
