After much thought and consideration, Blink-182 has rescheduled their next two shows in order for Travis Barker to mourn the loss of his dear friend Adam Goldstein. Blink-182 will now play St. Louis, MO on Sept 29 and Cleveland, OH on Sept 30. To accommodate the change, shows in Charlotte, NC and Atlanta, GA have also moved to October 6th and 7th respectively. All previously purchased tickets will be honored and the band will resume their current tour on September 4th in Kansas City, MO.

hey guys, i am sorry about the recent loss of adam.. and totally understand the spot you are in.. i was just wondering if you can reschedule the concert for Saratoga sometime. I dont mind when but as long as the thousands who turned out get to see you for the first time in years or for the first time ever. SPAC will be out of season starting next week but a great venue could be the Times Union Center in Albany (30 min from SPAC). I know there is 1 more show at MSG in october but it is sold out.. and the whole Northeast would love to have a make-up concert.

I have ALWAYS been ENTHUSED to GO to THE ROCK SHOW, but when i got there everyone was FEELING THIS DOWN and when i asked them to GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON for WHAT WENT WRONG, i was told there was a MAN OVERBOARD. From my POINT OF VIEW, ALL OF THIS sucks because, well it DEPENDS, but that might be the last TIME i could see you guys since i’m GOING AWAY TO COLLEGE. Maybe there will be A NEW HOPE and you’ll play again. I’M SORRY for your loss. We got tickets, returned them, drove 5 hours, came back, rented a hotel, got our money back. Good for you guys! I was wondering how you were going to deal with this situation. You all deserve a break in your hectic schedules. I don’t know how you do it. Perhaps, you’re all used to the pace now. A mental health break is a good idea even without the tragic news of Adams passing. We’ve all been there before with friends and family… Doesn’t make it any easier though, but taking the time to mourn is very important. You guys are strong and find solace in your music. Mark I feel terrible for all three of you. Saturday night at the ct show was also really hard for all of us there, just because we know how it feels to lose someone and how hard it is to keep going after a close friend passes.
Also, we felt strongly for you guys because we didn’t like seeing you all on stage crying. I couldn’t see travis’s face because I was in a seat, but everytime he was on screen, you could tell he was sobbing all throughout the show.
Travis doesn’t deserve something like this, but he will get through it.
Feel better, all of you. And good luck with everything life has to offer.

I understand what you guys are going through because I suffered the sudden loss of my father this year. I was looking forward to the Saratoga concert as one of the high points of what has been a terrible year. I’m very sorry for your loss.
I see you rescheduled the St. Louis and Cleveland shows. Is anything being done for Saratoga? It was really rough with the last-minute cancellation. Most of us there invested a lot of time and money that could not be refunded (hotel reservations, etc.) The couple in front of me were actually on their honeymoon.

today’s my birthday and i couldnt wait for the show in cleveland tomorrow, but im glad that travis is being given time to re-cooperate himself, tragedy strikes at the most unpredictable of times but i think this is the best decision the bands could’ve made in a heartbreaking situation like this one. my prayers go out to travis and the rest of the band. now i can’t wait for the 30th of this month!

i send my best wishes to all three of you. travis is so lucky to have lived and i cant even imagine how this affects him. dj will be missed, but if something were to happen to mark tom or travis the world would be even darker. stay [alive] for the kids….

I am so sorry about the loss of your friend. I know how close you were with Adam and I lost my father in march so I know what you are feeling. Every day you will think of him and it will bring back memories you never thought you had. I would like to tell you it becomes less difficult every day but it doesn’t. We just find better ways to deal with it. You need to keep strong and enjoy life and keep the music going. It is what we all use to escape. Adam would have wanted it that way. I know it SUCKS but eventually the pain and sorrow will fade. I has tickets to SPAC (inside seats) and I am sad you had to cancel. I listened to parts of the cleavland show on you tube and could feel your pain. I recieved the ticktes for fathers day (I have 2 with one on the way 09\22) I have all of your cd’s (even with the other bands) and I have never seen you guys live. I am so happy you got back together and I look forward to your new cd next year. I hope you return to upstate NY so I have another oppertunity to see you (with the 3 kids I cannot afford to travel) If you can great if not I understand what you are going through. September 22 will be hard for me because my father never had a chance to meet his last grandson. But I need to be strong for him as you do for eachother. Hope you have a chance to respond and I wihs you peace in these difficult times Chad M

Hey I’m sorry for the loss and this difficult time for Travis and you guys. I am disappointed though that this news wasn’t more public or put out in advanced more. Me and my friends drove 2 1/2 hours one way (5 hours round trip) today to see your show only to find out when we got there that it was canceled. Again, I know this is a tough time for you guys but I wish this was decided on sooner to let people know. Now I will have to miss the rescheduled show because I won’t be able to take off work that was used for today. Please make sure this doesn’t happen again for your fans. I hope all goes well for Travis and you guys as you deal with this tough time.

You are all amazing for how well you guys coped with this terrible situation. Im sure he was a great guy and I wish I knew him the way you guys did. I’m going to take my refund from the Sept. 30th rescheduled show and just see Blink next year if/when you do some touring off the new album. If Weezer can’t make the reschedled shows, I’m hitting both bands up on tour separately (hopefully) when both their new albums drop.
