wow it’s been a while. just got home from a week of vacation in st thomas. i had to go out and get a good tan (meaning “heat rash”) in between recording the koopa record last month and the new found glory record next month. i know that many of you are anxious to hear about what’s up in +44 world, and we are still in pre-production. although i have half a mind to post one of the demos up here one of these days. i wonder if the label would sue me if i did? can they do that? probably, right? anyway, instead of a demo, i will post a photo i took of a fish while i was on vacation. that’s right. i took this picture. i am the new jacques cousteau. i need one of those orange beanies…

by the way, our old friend jon kalter was IM’ing me yesterday and saying that he has a few great stories to tell, so i think we’re going to call and record his stories and put them out in podcast form. they better be good, jon. people can’t have any half-assed podcasts, you know. your stories better be up the high journalistic integrity of all the previous hiynameismark podcasts. the pressure is on, now dazzle us.

finally, i’m doing the voice of an elephant in a new animated show that is being created right now. a lot of cool, creative people and musicians are involved. it is still in it’s early days, but we’ve teamed up with our friends who produce robot chicken and will be taking it to networks in the next few months. i don’t know what i am allowed to tell you about the show right yet, but my character is an elephant, and the show is rude enough to probably only be allowed on adult swim or hbo. awesome.
