Bio:
newest indie rock outfit Walk Me Home started out as a band just late January of 2005. This young quartet has been together for almost 6 months now and already gaining much attention from the local independent music scene of the San Pablo. After the demise of indie pop rock band Mellow Del Prado last mid 2004, (the band where Jeroze-vocals/guitars, Jade-bass and Jhay-drums came from) these guys never stopped their momentum and intensely continue to make music together as Walk Me Home. They even added a new guy, Orville (who came from San Pablo's upcoming hardcore band Aurora) to play the guitar for them to bring more solid sound to the band. Compare to Mellow Del Prado, this young new group is much mature and has more good songwriting skills to offer. Songs are topped with melodic guitar power-chords, poppish voice and a much edgier tempo reminds you a lot of bands like Weezer, Juliana Theory and Jimmy Eat World which they admittedly consider as their main musical influences. About their songs, chief-lyricist Jeroze talks more about personal relationships, failures of love and even about sleeping habits in his lyrics. The band already has 6 original compositions under their belt and they are set to go inside a studio in a month to record their debut cdep tentatively entitled "embers". They played their debut performance last February at Mayrics in Espana, Manila sharing stage with familiar bands like Typecast and Valley of Chrome. And eversince that single show, they have been everywhere in San Pablo and other nearby towns playing with other independent bands like Boy Meats Girl, The Spoons, Aurora, Piledriver, among others. Please do yourself a favor and check this young new band out. They would absolutely walk you home.
