Bio:
In February of 2002, four guys from Rome, Italy got together to fulfill a common dream. With each member bringing his own musical backgrounds to the table, this quartet set out on a project that would bring together their unique styles and their love for the new wave of punk rock coming out of the United States.

By late 2002, Vinx, Brian, Luca, and Cisco shoved themselves into a Roman garage, allowing them to blend their musical experience, and take the first steps in achieving their goal. Together, they recorded an unassisted demo with a sound whose quality truly spoke for itself and thus Vanilla Sky was born.

After much practice, Vanilla Sky took their sounds to the streets of Rome, by performing at venues around the Imperial City. Their set included all of the songs off their demo entitled, "Play It If You Can't Say It," and ended up being a real crowd pleaser. The catchy sound quickly led to sold out copies in under two months.

As word of Vanilla Sky spread across Italy, more experienced bands in the Italian pop/punk/rock scene also took notice and began inviting them on the road. This was a huge honor for the guys, as it gave them the opportunity to play throughout all of their home country. After fulfilling many successful supporting slots, Vanilla Sky was approached by Wynona Records (Genoa, Italy) and in January 2003, they signed their first record deal.

This allowed the guys to record two splits, "Too Loud For You" and "The Rest Is History." The second split was so successful it reached fans as far away as Japan via Ambience Records. The guys were stoked to learn that people as far away as Japan were taking notice of a group of guys from Italy. Clearly Vanilla Sky was on its way.

With popularity exceeding all expectations, Vanilla Sky recorded their first full length album, "Waiting for Something" in 2003. After its release, they were given the opportunity to play at many prestigious rock festivals throughout Europe, sharing the stage with prominent bands like Forty Winks, The Break, Yellowcard, Flogging Molly, The Ataris, NOFX, Good Charlotte, The Offspring, The Hives, My Chemical Romance, and many more.

The success of their albums and relentless touring throughout Europe and Japan has been proof that hard work truly does pay off. After selling 25,000 copies of their debut album, and over 5,000 of their EP, Vanilla Sky drew the attention of many European and international personalities in the music business"specifically Mark Hoppus of Blink 182 and +44, who featured the guys on his personal webcast.

After the broadcast, Vanilla Sky spent a year on pre-production writing, arranging, and fine tuning songs from 2006 to record the final version of their second album. Unfortunately the data was lost and the guys were forced to start the album over. Despite the set back, Vanilla Sky continued to meet the demands of their fans by continuing to play throughout Europe.

As media attention grew, they began to receive several offers from the biggest companies in the music business. Vanilla Sky finally signed with major recording label, Universal, who launched their new record, "Changes," on June 22, 2007.

Since that time, the band has continued to tour Europe and has even launched a video podcast, looking into life on the road, recording sessions, and everyday debauchery. It is viewable on YouTube.com as Vanilla Sky TV.
