Bio: These days, not many bands bring something different to the music industry while still keeping the radio-friendly sound that drives the business. This was the goal of the band Standpointe. Forming in 2005, the young band started experimenting with different styles, not content with the sound of today's music, and finally came to the style that makes the band. Standpointe gained recognition very early, and realized how far their talents could take them. After only two years, they have accomplished more than they ever thought they could. Having shared the stage with many national touring acts including Smile Empty Soul, Black Light Burns, Cinder Road, and Modern Day Zero and playing venues that many of their idols have played before made them come to realize that music was going to be their first priority and their career, no matter what it took. In attempt to keep moving forward, Standpointe moved into the studio in 2006, to record their debut album, "Make Your Move" The new album features eight original songs that each member of Standpointe worked hard to create, trying to capture the heart and emotion that they feel their music truly possesses. With rising popularity, Standpointe felt that the timing was right to seek management. To fill the part, they contacted Lucky 7 Management. Feeling like the perfect fit, they signed with manager Jay Wells in early 2007. Lucky 7 provides Standpointe with a professional and organized edge no band can reach by themselves. Each member of Standpointe yearns for the idea of playing music for a career and spreading their talents worldwide. Each performer also feels that the music of today doesn't have the raw emotion and feeling like it used to have, which is where they come in. Standpointe's stage presence and musical abilities mark a new standard in music. Watching their live performances and listening to their music proves that they do not have to say a word...but they have just let the music do the talking.
