Overall the show was awesome. Spent the first 5 hours by Jaegermeister stage and getting autographs at the various tents. God Forbid were pretty good. All That Remains rocked and really started geting the crowd going. Trivium absolutely tore it up. There sound was completely dialed in and the crowd loved it with tons of moshing. Too bad they only got 30 minutes. They should have gotten 45 minutes or even been on the main stage. Speaking of the main stage, Mushroomhead sucked. Very weird and the crowd did not get into them. Killswitch sounded the best and I personally liked them the most of the main stage bands. Slayer was pretty good, although after a while the drums sound the same on almost every song. Marilyn Manson was so-so. I was not expecting much, but I did enjoy several of the songs. If Marilyn would have swapped out a few of the slower songs it would have been much better. Only watched a few minutes of each death metal band on the Hot Topic stage. Just not my kind of music. I actually like to understand what people are singing, not a bunch of grunts and piq squeals. To each their own. Just not my scene. The Metal Malitia stunt cycle team was there too. Preety cool. Could not have asked for better weather either.
