The whole show freaking ROCKED!!! Although it rained the whole day The bands still gave there all and rocked the house.Even Draiman kept on giving his all after he got hit in the face with a chunk of sod.
The show was great it could have been better without the rain but the bands and the crowd didn't let that stop us. All the bands put on one hell of a show but it would have been nice to see Mastodon I missed them b/c of the overlap with them and Machine Head.
Amazing show, rained pretty much the whole day, top bands were
Dragonforce, Disturbed and Slipknot of course in no order.
Mastodon sorry u sucked.
Underoath, Ray street park and suicide silence were amazing on the smaller stages, loved the pit in underoath
rain was awesome mudslide amazing.. bruises brutal.. music metal
all the bands were phenomenal. had to miss mastadon because of the overlap with machine head. rain kinda sucked because everyone on the hill started throwing sod at those of us seated in the pavillion. Had to spend more time looking backward instead of at the show. Venue website said coolers and umbrellas were allowed but they weren't. Staff very rude. Excellent show, horrible venue. Don't ever see a show there!!!
the show was amazing, waiting 2 and a half years to see slipknot was well worth the wait. they always put on a hell of a show and the same goes for disturbed. Ive never been disappointed by either of them when ive seen them live in concert.
Most of the bands were good. The setup for the two non-main stages was great never any down time between bands. The rain made it not as good of a concert as it should have been.Obviously one reviewer has never gone to a concert at DTE because the throwing of the sod is an every year occurence. If you go to see one group you have to see five finger death punch, they always put on a brutal show. Stay away from the wrestling event, the worst acting I have ever seen. They could have just had people from the crowd do a better job.Slipknot could turn up the vocals a little bit more, hard to hear over the drums.
It did rain all day but thanks to pickrset my lawn tickets were upgraded to 15th row center. Top bands were Dragonforce, Slipknot Five Finger Death Punch and Disturbed. The worst band by far was Mastodon and I was a fan, they were terrible.
Great performances by all the bands, rained most of the day and douches were throwing sod. who the hell throws sod especially during disturbed, throw sod between shows damn it.
mastodon wasnt too terrific. Disturbed and Slipknot rocked the place. they were amazing. And David didn't even stop singing or anything when he got hit in the face with sod.
Great Show! I'm soo frickin' happy that Slipknot played "Surfacing" to start the show. I just can't believe that they didn't play "Wait & Bleed". It was Kick Ass when the drum set was lifted in the air, then tilted verticle and started to spin. If there was another show close to me, I'd deffinitely see it again!
the whole damn show was amazing Slipknot and Disturbed completely kicked ass. The two side stages had an awesome setup with no down time, and Walls of Jericho and Suicide Silence were two of my favorites performances. I can't wait to see it again next year!
SHOW WAS AMAZING! I have VIDEOS from ROW 2 on youtube. Go to this link to see them:

In my opinion the rain didn't make the show worse in any way. I was totally stoked about the mudslide & rain in general.. and that's coming from a girl. :) I'm going to have to say that Slipknot, Five Finger Death Punch, Disturbed, and Walls of Jericho were the best bands by far for the whole day. Can't wait till next year (hopefully?)
The best concert ever Disturbed, Slipknot, and Five Finger Death Punch stole the show.
Hot Topic Stage pretty much Sucked I thought. But the Yager stage made up for it with great performances by all bands including Detroit's very own Ray Street Park. I didn't care for Mastodon or Dragonforce although both bands have very talented musicians.... just didn't like the singers. Having seen Disturbed 8 times and Slipknot 4 times previously I can say that both bands put on phenominal shows. The rain sucked but it was cool when the sun popped out during the crowds Machine Head chant "Magical" as the singer put it. Overall a great day!!!!
