Bio:
Two strapping young lads wanted to form a band one day in October of 2008. Their names were Nathaniel Sussman and Emerson Krebs. They then auditioned for a second guitarist, they had to pick between two men (each extremely good looking and talented), but they decided to pick Harley Sapsford (obviously the best choice by far). These three guys now formed Cereal Mamma. They then decided that the band name was extremely stupid and changed it to Paper Cutouts. The band then went on to make few songs and make a music video (that is now on youtube, but I advise you not to watch it with your speakers turned on until we upload the re-recorded version [no offence to Emerson's singing, it's the chorus im talking about]). After all of this, the band decided they needed a drummer! (Bad decision right? - they could have just stuck with the man in the music video who sat there with two drum sticks and didn't even pretend to play). Paper Cutouts took a very long time getting a drummer, and finally decided on Lucas Barbey, a very talented and sexy young man who is the bomb at drums. They picked Lucas a week before their fist live show (procrastination forever!), and the live show is on youtube as well (you can't hear the vocals because the dude on the sound system messed up the volumes), but alltogether I thought our first show went really well, even though we didn't do as good a job as I'd have liked on the first song we played (the First Date cover), which was mostly my fault anyways. But we're here, we're queer, and listen to our music!
