Oakcrest is a band consisting of 4 Insanely talented guys from Santa Rosa, California. Love of music and life brought Max Kranz and Jake Eckerty to move from Santa Rosa to North Carolina to join Tim Kranz who was brought there by the United States Army. After 7 and a half years Tim was finally getting out of the army and it was just in time for Max and Jake fresh out of school to come and join him in making a band. An idea that had been talked about over many a beer. The time has now come and Oakcrest has made it's way to North Carolina. The first time a band of californians will be starting in the Carolinas. Fate led us to John Scrudder, Also from Santa Rosa, but living in NC. He completes our Cali based band. We strive to make music without labels. Music that can be the soundtrack for many peoples lives mixing all our emotions, influences and talents into music we like as well as music other people will like. We are also striving to make music you normally wouldn't hear in Fayetteville, Santa Rosa, or even the rest of the World.
