It all started "back" in january 2008.......... The Band named flapJack's disapeared in the fog of silence when flapJacks frontman Dani "daily" Helgesen wanted to do something "bigger" and more out of space kind of punk-rock then the former band flapJacks. He started first to experiment with very old classic rock mixed up with the punk-rock influence he had from the early days with flapJacks. But it wasn't enough. He had strong connections with the band Spektralized at the time and was thrilled by the synths and vocal lines that his friend Richardt Bjørklund from Spektralized had. After a vacation in his birthplace Fredrikstad where he was checking out some of the new stuff from the band Spektralized he was now sure of what he needed in this new project that was named Eyes with Lies. When he returned to the studio that daily himself had built in the basement of his store Evil in Trondheim, he laid out the project and tried to experiment with some synths and more laidback guitar riffs and drums. Backed up by his girlfriend Cathrine, he tried to record down some songs and it became the songs: Paradise and Divine. Daily also got influence from the band Angels & Airwaves, and plus44. He hooked up with his dear friend and drummer Krister Johansen and gave him a chance to use his knowlegde about synth, techno and hous music and gave him a place in the Evil Studio. Krister named his studio "K2 Studio" and Daily kept the name Evil Studios. But a vocalist/guitar player and a drummer wasn't enough. They needed a bass player and a second guitar player if this was going to work. Kristers little brother came in to the picture and after a jam or five Daily accepted Stians playing method and Eyes with Lies had a bass player. a few weeks later, Eyes with Lies became complete, with a new second guitar player.
At this time Eyes with Lies is divided over two citys. Daily moved to Fredrikstad for personal reasons and the rest of the band stayed in Trondheim. After a 2 months long breake becuase of system overload they are now back, better then ever and will soon arrive to your hood and play new dreams inside your head.
