september 2008, Me(Sam), George and Christian are best friends and we go to high school together. The whole band started one normal day at our school's cafeteria when having lunch; we all played an instrument so I came up with the idea of creating a band that would keep us busy and something we all liked to do "play music"!!!!. First we started with the name, our first choice was "the exits" altho, some months later we found out there was already a band called "the exits", so we had to change the name obviously, some of the names we got across with were: the asstros, the oranges, binkl 183, +45 and others.....
Finally our drummer, George, got the idea of calling it "excuse my independence" and we all agreed that was going to be the name of the band.
We started working at the studio for S.C.G records and recorded a demo called "better let you go" with six songs and a bonus video. Then we all agreed that we needed a vocalist to join the band, we had to send messages to all the people we knew they could sing and finally one friend of ours, excellent guitarist and singer was interested in joining and we decided to make him the new vocalist for the band (VJ).
