Great show. THey have been saying they have a new song on twitter, but didn't play it. Travis's solo during the encore was ridiculous.
This was the best show I have ever seen! The only thing that could have made it better would have been better opening bands. Blink completely rocked last night! They played such a great mix of songs...all their hits and extras from each album. They played well together and had some fun, just like they used to. It was almost like they have never been gone. The energy was great, the songs were great, the show was great! Travis had an amazing drum solo during the encore (there's nothing like seeing that live)! If you get the chance to see them live this summer, do it. I wish I could see them again!
This show was insane!!! OMG Blink was freaking amazing!! They played soo spot on that night i couldn't believe it!!Panic! At The Disco and Fall Out Boy rocked the house too...Chester French shouldnt even have been on the same stage as these guys..Overall the show was awesome i love coming to this venue.
That was an amazing show! They were just incredible
Blink 182 was amazing!! It was such a great show!!
that concert was awesomeeeee!
Blink 182 was amazing!!! I flew across country to see them and it was worth every penny.
I went to this show after the Milwaukee show. This show was my hometown show, (chicago) so I had higher expectations :-)
It was great. Tom wasn't wasted like in Milwaukee so he played better...only messing up once. Travis' solo was better this time around...fuckin insane.
Mark was on key and perfect as always. The show was amazing...I'm so happy to have seen them twice on their reunion tour...can't wait for the new album.
For years, I had been dreaming of seeing Mark, Tom and Travis live, and two nights ago, I fucking did!! It was such an amazing experience. 30,000 people!! When the crowd cheered, it literally sounded like the place was going to fall apart. It was so awesome. It was 10 times better than I had ever expected it to be, and I expected it to be ridiculously amazing! A little pissed though because my girlfriend made me leave right after the encore, so I missed Mark playing the drums :( Whenever they tour next, I'll fuckin be there. Dream come true.
I have been waiting 10 LONG years to see Blink again, and it was like they never left!!! I have been to a LOT of shows @ the Tweeter, but NOTHING compared to the Blink Show!! AMAZING!! Loved Every Minute of it!
I don't think I have ever been so anxious for a headlining band to hit the stage in my life. From the moment the guys struck the opening chord to 'Dumpweed' to the last ringing note of 'Dammit', I was jumping around and screaming like a little girl at a Jonas Brothers concert. They delivered a 22 song set that included all their big hits, several songs for their self-titled album, a few lesser known gems for all the die hard fans (i.e. 'Not Now' and 'Josie'), a mind-blowing drum solo, and of course some off-color banter in between songs about gay sex, hand jobs, blow jobs, etc. (as well as some hilariously profane 'lyrical enhancements' by Tom). They performed with such great energy and chemistry that it was hard to believe they had been on 'hiatus' for over 4 years. Although they still ran around and goofed off like the old Blink, there were a few changes that stood out to me including extended intros/outro and swapping vocal parts. Two great moments that I loved was the way Tom told the story of how Blink was formed before playing 'Reckless Abandon' and of course the adorable 'group hug' between Tom, Mark, and Travis in the middle of their set. They made it clear that they are back and that they are here to stay...which was more than good news to hear for me and the 30,000 other Blink fans in attendance that night.
30,000 strong! OMG! This is absolutely the BEST concert I've ever been too. No one would believe that this was a reunion. It was like they had never even been apart. Awesome! Definitely life changing....trying to get tix to another show in a couple of weeks. Just amazing.... I can't even explain how great they were. If you missed it, I'm sorry!
You guys have been my hero's since second grade and i finally got to see you guys live! best day of my life i will remember it for the rest of my life. WHEN Whats My Age Again came on me and my friend almost took off our clothes and streaked through tinley park!
This was the greatest show i've ever seen!!!! I've been waiting to see them forever, and i'm extreamly happy that i did not miss it. Blink 182 completly ROCKED THE SHOW. It was AMAZING! Me and my friends can not stop talking about about it, and the others are jealous. I CAN NOT WAIT till they come back to Chicago!
they were amazing. travis's drum solo was sick, especially being lifted into the air like back when they toured with green day. everybody was singing along. definitely a band to go watch.
This was my first concert that i have ever been to and I had the time of my life!!!!!! They put on such a good show and I was so happy I got to see my favorite band ever!!! I even got one of Travis' fuckin drumstick!!!!!!!!!!!!
so i've been a fan of blink sense i was about seven years old. they played once when i was 10 in my town and i wanted to go, but being ten i needed my parents permission and i never got it. so finally after years or waiting and longing for a blink so i finally was able to go. it was absolutely amazing. the songs were fantastic and the jokes were wonderful.
its the best show i've ever seen put on. i mean it, tom, mark, and travis you were outstanding and i can't even put into words how wonderful you guys did.
i especially liked mark drumming at the end haha.
the only thing i would say wasn't the greatest was the openers.
i would've much rather seen weezer than fall out boy and panic! at the disco.
but thats okay, i still got to see ba ba ba blink.
Seriously, I texted my friend and said "Blink>Sex." I was blown away by the amazing-ness of the concert. My only regret was that I didn't spend all the money I had to get closer.
This might make me sound old, but oh well:
It was a really fun show but not the best ever. They played way too many songs from their newer (and less awesome) albums. Since it was kind of a reunion tour I was hoping for more old songs! I would have been disappointed, but I saw them 4 or 5 times back when I was in high school so luckily I have had the opportunity to see them play some better songs. The songs they played all sounded great. I think you can tell they're older, more mature, and try harder now because as much as I LOVE them, they used to sound kind of crappy live. But now they sound really good live, so yay! Travis blew me away, he was absolutely amazing and incredible. I loved Mark's pink bass and he sounded and looked great. And Tom was being himself, making really immature jokes. This show was a lot of fun and worth the $26 for lawn seats. Their group hug was my favorite part :)
You guys were great, i loved it. I would agree you needed better oppenning bands, but otherwise it was the best show ever. you guys are my favorite band. love youu
Well the show was good. It was probably one of the better concerts I've been to. But I had some problems with it...
I did not like how they played their self-titled album songs mainly. I think it would be freaking amazing if they played Buddah, Cheshire Cat, Dude Ranch, and Enema of the State. But I knew that wasn't going to happen. I still think that TOYPAJ and their self titled album is good. Just not as good as their old stuff.
Another problem I had with the show was that they had Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, and Chester French play. Honestly, those are my three LEAST FAVORITE bands. I would listening to anything but those bands. It was terrible waiting for it.
But once Blink started playing it was worth sitting there listening to music I hate just for them.
I thought it was pretty cool how Tom didn't sing with his AvA voice like he did when they played on Leno.
Tom and Mark still made jokes that were only funny just because they would say them.
Travis--all I have to say is "meh".
Blink is a good band. One of my favorites, but they should've played crappy. Like, they are the only band I would encourage to suck. Because I liked their live shows when they would play poorly so much better than them playing good.
But still, the show was good. It was probably the best concert I've been to. But not the best show (if that makes sense).
Simply AMAZING! Sounded great, were great, and still very funny. :) I was excited that it was with Fall Out Boy!
the show did kick ass, blink did play well ill admit, BUT the most BULL FUCKING SHIT was the SUPPOSED SIGNING BEFORE THE SHOW AT TMOBILE, THEY WERE ONLY THEIR FOR 20 FUCKIN MINIUTES AND TONZ OF PEOPLE WERE THEIR! i was waiting since 9 AM and they took off without letting us know!! BULL FUCK!!
You guys are fuckin awesome!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!
BLINK 182 WAS THE GREATEST SHOW AND DAY OF MY HOLE INTIRE LIFE! I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT DAY EVER! I WANNA GO TO A NOTHER SHOW SO BAD! IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!
I have been wanting to see Blink for about ten years so of course I thought the show was AMAZING!!! Travis was over the top with that solo! Mark was just awesome as always and Tom...my all time favorite person in the world, was so sexy and sang perfect :) The only complaint I have is about the tall bitch in front of me and her boyfriend who kept making out the whole time haha. I only wish I could have met Blink.. it would have been a dream come true!!
Updated 2009-08-17 10:15:05this show was ridiculous. best show i have ever seen. thnak you mark tom and travis. this show was on the weekend right before school starts for me. perfect way to end my summer. couldn\'t have asked for anything better.
the show was amazing, easily one of the best nights of my life. when i heard about the reunion, i freaked out but was nearly hypervenilating when i heard it\'d be with fob. it was a dream come true to see blink and fob together live.
blink sounded great and were really funny and entertaining to watch. the song selection was sick too - joining pickrset was a good choice. thanks for playing one of my favorite songs of all time, i miss you. it sounded amazing live too. i was disappointed to not hear going away to college. not much of \"enema of the state\" was played, which surprised me \'cause that\'s when blink really hit it big.
everyone was great but travis really blew me away. as he played, it looked like the drumming was taking over him. he was so into what he was doing that he didn\'t focus, he let it all flow out of him. and the encore performance? epic. even my dad said that was probably one of the coolest drum solos he\'s ever seen. it kinda reminded us of motley crue and how the drummer was flipping in the cage.... epic, just epic.
i\'m sure that the other 30000 people agree that the show was definately worth waiting for.
that was really long but i had a lot to say.
thanks for your music, and btw, the \"limited edition\" shirts were a brilliant idea. i was lucky enough to be one of the 182 out of 30000 people to get one, even if it\'s an enormous XL.

Updated 2009-08-17 11:08:57Best Show ever! It was my first Blink 182 concert , 4 rows from the front. I loved Travis\'s drum solo at the end of the show. Also when there was a group hug and mark told travis how he was in Great shape :P
Blink certainly did NOT disappoint. It was my first time seeing them but \'ve been to a lot of concerts and they were BY FAR the best show i\'ve EVER seen!!! Travis\' cover of Jay-Z\'s song was AMAZING; the encore was to die for!!!
Best show I have EVER been to!!!!!!
ONe of the best shows I have ever seen. Great job Tom, Mark, and especially Travis!
best concert ever! good performance! me and my friend were head banging to all the songs in the front row behind the people on the floor. my friend said he stopped for and saw mark looking at us and giving us the horn or sumthing.
i liked \"hug o\'clock\". tom was funny and full of energy, mark fun and very chill, and travis is always entertaining to watch.
it was amazing
Best concert I have ever been to.....
unreal great preformance great music great entertainment it was just so good i mean best show ever obviously but i had no idea it would blow my mind like that chester french were not good but panic at the disco and were fall out boy good 2 but nobady compared to blink they were hilarious they played great and they just had so much energy that concert i paid only 26 bucks wich was affordable and to sum up everything it was just a amazing 1000 stars show
Amazing show. Thats all I have to say.
fuckin awsome guys. ill remember this for the rest of my life. when dumpweed came on i just went nuts!
best concert ever
AAAMMMAAAZZZIIINNNGGGG
i was amazed at how good tom sounded. he sounded exactly like did when blink was in their prime x10. travis barker flying drum solo. panic and fob were great too.
Easily one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Previous to this concert, i had waited eight years to attend a blink show. The performance truly blew me away. I was 5th row and got a perfect view. I came all the way from California (and I\'m seeing the show on September 16th as well ). I was one of the lucky few to go home with one of Andy Hurley\'s drumsticks which is pretty cool, considering FOB is my second favorite band. Hopefully Travis Barker will throw one my way next time! Keep it up blink! You guys are my idols and inspiration!
Updated 2009-08-17 14:05:54GREATEST CONCERT EVER! BLINK 182 IS THE BEST BAND EVER YOU MADE MY SUMMER BLINK
panic awesome. fob good. blink godlikeee. WOOO! -guy with panies on head!
This was seriously one of the GREATEST nights of my life. They sounded awesome, had lots of fun, and played great songs. It was everything I expected it to be and sooo much MORE!!
best show ever. blink was freaking amazing, of course, & fob was much better than expected. p!atd was great even though ryro & co left, the only thing that could\'ve made this better was getting rid of chester french.
best day of my life. ♥
I love you guys! it was such a great show and I hope you guys come back to Chicago soon!
By far one of the greatest shows ive ever seen. Only thing i would change is no chester french. Sorry but its true. Blink picked up right where they left off it was great! Travis sick solo prolly the sickest thing ive ever seen
Updated 2009-08-17 22:46:27No BS this was one of the best shows I have ever attended! The two songs I wanted Blink to play most were the encore songs! And that drum solo on the flying platform! Hope you guys come back soon!
The energy for this show was just simply amazing, it was like they weren\'t even gone for so many years. The drum solo for the encore was fucking amazing! Props for that! The whole band played amazing, best concert ever! It was the best way to end the summer before college starting up again!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING just as good as when i saw them four years ago
if you have ever at any stage of your life been a fan of blink then there is no doubt in my mind that you will enjoy this show as much as i did...best live performance i have ever seen without contest
Greatest fucking night of my life. they played great songs and sounded great. travis\' solo was the sickest thing ive ever seen. AMAZING. tom was hilarious with his immature jokes and mark was awesome too. greatest show ever.
