Bio:
A Lifelike Story is comprised of four teenage musicians, all who have a passion for music. The band was originally formed by Bryan Welsh (Vocals/Guitar) and Taylor Ruggieri (Vocals), back in the fall of 2005. Their mutual interest in music and similar songwriting styles were obvious. Performances at local coffee houses, nearby sound stages and community events filled their schedule. As the band continued to write and perform, they considered the addition of a drummer and bass player to enhance their sound. In January 2007, Bryan and Taylor were joined by drummer, Ben Cahill. At this point the sound of A Lifelike Story changed from an acoustic project to a rock / pop-rock band. Around this same time period, the band started working on their debut EP at Windmill Studio. Later that month the band was joined by the newest member of the group, bassist, Garrett Hoffman. Currently A Lifelike Story is working hard on their debut EP, hoping to have it completed before the end of 2007.

Bryan, Taylor, Ben, & Garrett thank you for your interest in A Lifelike Story, and look forward to seeing and meeting you at their next performance. They do not take your presence for granted.

EP OUT NOW Hey y'all!

We're totally excited to tell you that (finally) Flowers for Wednesday is available!!!! You can now purchase it from our merchandise booths from Nikki, Hilary, or Taylor (thanks, merch gals!), on iTunes, or CD Baby or Digstation.

Also, we are in the process of replacing drummer Ben Cahill. We still have not yet made the final decision, however we are coming to a close with it, so keep checking our pages to see what happens with that.

Thirdly, we are creating new merchandise. Currently, we have marked down the black lifelike tee a few bucks, to save you kiddies some moo-lah.

NEW STUFF!

DUDES!

Sorry we haven't been updating this as much as usual. We've been busy working on the new EP and coming out with stuff for you!

The EP should be out in late June. We're sorry it's been so late, but there have been several complications.

Also, as most of you know, Ben Cahill (drums) will be leaving us in August of 2008. After the best year and a half ever with that kid, he has decided to pursue educational purposes, which makes sense because he'll only be a sophomore. So now we're currently holding auditions for new drummers. If you think you're interested, please send us an e-mail to alifelikestory@att.net. Thanks guys!

New Song, New Shows, New EP, and more!

Which to start with? I guess we'll start with the new song. As most of you know, we've been writing in practices for just some new material. We are proud to announce we have written a song for the future album (not 'Flowers for Wednesday'). The new song is titled "Secrets", so look for it at our shows!

As promised, we will be releasing our EP, "Flowers for Wednesday" in June of 2008. Yes, we're aware that it's long overdue, and we're sorry we've made you guys wait so long for it :( but we promise it'll be worth the wait. FFW will have 4 tracks on it, although that decision is not definite yet.

Thirdly, we have had to drop a series of shows of late. We didn't want to, but it was due to venue errors in booking. We're trying our hardest to get more shows in different areas. Bear with us!
